srey sweater - marigold
A carefully handwoven sweater made from scraps of remnant cotton jersey and yarn. The boxy shape makes it easy to layer on top of shirts and dresses, or you can wear the sweater on its own with pants and skirts. The handmade textile has a unique texture: every sweater is truly one of a kind.
Sizing: This piece comes in two sizes, with a S/M fitting sizes 0-10 and L/XL fitting sizes 12-18. See our size chart for more details.
Materials: Handwoven from remnant jersey and cotton yarns. The yarn is created with cutting room scraps made during the production of tonlé clothing; all the fabric that we use to make those garments is considered waste by larger fashion manufacturers. Our unique zero waste process effectively upcycles textile remnants twice. Every fabric we use is burn tested to assure that it is at least 90% natural, plant-based fiber.
This custom-designed fabric was created in partnership with talented weavers in Cambodia’s Preah Vihear province in a fair trade cooperative and sewn together in our Phnom Penh workshop. Because of the carefully handmade nature of this sweater, each one will vary slightly in color and texture.
Care: Hand-wash and lay flat to dry to best care for your top.
