Elle, the Creator and Founder of ELLERALI makes each piece in her collection from discarded clothing. She started ELLERALI because she wanted to create dope, fresh designs that were multifunctional, and environmentally friendly. An environmentalist at heart, Elle believes that “we should never settle for what we have now when we can always strive to do better.”
T-Shirts are the most purchased garment of clothing. They are comfortable, easily accessible, and they connect a consumer to their identity. They are also one of the easiest garments of clothing to discard, contributing to fashion’s vast pollution and climate impact.
Due to the overuse of t-shirts and their disproportionate impact on the environment, t-shirts are Elle’s main source of inspiration and the primary material in her collections. The result is unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that tell a story and share Elle’s important message: “Fashion does not need to continue to be harmful to our society and the environment. We have all the materials we need already made, so let’s be creative and recreate the created.”
