skylar dress - plant kween

$96.00 USD

This tea length dress has a boxy top and pleated skirt. It is made with reclaimed linen and features two side pockets with straps that tie at the shoulders for an adjustable fit.

Created using our unique zero waste process, the dress will be a graceful addition to your sustainable summer wardrobe. The pattern, called "forest floor," is a screen printed outline of mushrooms with hand-painted details. We like to style this piece with low heels and our favorite minimal accessories.

This gender-expansive style was designed in collaboration with Christopher, aka The Plant Kween. Each piece in this collection celebrates Christopher’s effortless style with tonlé’s sustainable, zero waste process. In line with our shared vision of disrupting gender binarism in the fashion industry, each garment has been developed through a gender expansive lens to offer fits of self-expression and joy designed to fit a range of bodies.

Skyler is 5'11" wearing cream cotton. Vichka is 5'6" wearing tan linen. Rae is 5'3" wearing goldenrod, teal, pink clay and chocolate. All models are in size S.

color: cream chambray
This piece is made from linen and or a cotton/linen blend – sourced as deadstock and offcuts left over from larger garment manufacturers. To best take care of your zero waste upcycled garment (and to protect the earth), we recommend machine washing in cold water, and hanging to dry. This garment can be ironed on medium heat, but after linen is washed a few times, it softens and does not need much ironing. Our fabrics are hand selected each week from remnant markets where large manufacturers bring discarded off-cuts and deadstock, and we do our best to select the most consistent, comfortable, and high quality fabrics. Fabrics are pre-washed and shrunk, but if you machine dry this garment it may shrink slightly.
